BC 7th graders enjoyed visiting the Linn Regional Center for a Financial Literacy Fair on Monday, May 13th. This was an opportunity for 7th graders to experience what it is like to have monthly expenses. Each 7th grader chose a career during their careers exploratory class, and they got to spend the monthly salary of their career on a house, car, insurance, cell phone, etc.

"My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is educating the students about Edith Wilson. She played an influential role in her husband’s administration after his stroke. Her role was so large she served as essentially de facto president much to the chagrin of his cabinet. In the modern day, the 25th amendment exists to prevent a similar situation."
